Hey, I’m Lorena

I’m a Product Manager who enjoys creating meaningful data-oriented products. By combining analytical thinking with human-centered design, I help teams turn complex data challenges into user-friendly applications.

My background spans academia, R&D, and product development, with data always at the heart of what I do. From MATLAB and IoT, to analytics tools like Amplitude and Google Analytics, and more recently, AI-powered Data Analytics and Insights, I love making data accessible and helping others unlock its potential.

In my last role as Product Manager at Sopact, I brought data-based products to the nonprofit sector—a space not typically tech-savvy or data-fluent. This wonderful challenge led me to reimagine data, a space I’ve been working in since 2017, as a more approachable subject.

Beyond my main role, I collaborate on research projects involving product, data, and business innovation. I lead an English as a Second Language community program at Centro Cultural Mexicano in Redmond, WA. And my latest passion project is my balcony PNW produce garden, which yielded over 200 cherry tomatoes in 2025. I’m aiming for an even more bountiful harvest in 2026. 🍅
